Sea Salt & Charcoal

We value technological progress, but we do not assume that newly created chemical compounds automatically align with the physiological constraints of Homo sapiens.

Homo sapiens physiology is the result of gradual adaptation to natural inputs over long timescales — thousands to hundreds of thousands of years.

When novel compounds are introduced faster than biological systems can adapt, uncertainty increases.

Expecting immediate compatibility is no different from fueling a combustion engine with electricity instead of gasoline: the system was not designed for that input, regardless of intent or innovation.
