Recognition and The Core Issue

In the United States, it is reasonable to assert that approximately 10,000 laboratory-made chemicals as compared to Europe 400 are approved for use in food, many of which have never been thoroughly studied for their long-term ecological and biological effects. Conducting comprehensive studies would require decades and substantial funding, making it unlikely that anyone will undertake them unless mandated by the government, which is their responsibility. Individuals, organizations, and regulators are often influenced by the profit-seeking interests of shareholders. Even if they were to consider the impacts of these innovations fully, it would be nearly impossible for employed managers to make decisions that contradict their interests. While they may recognize this uncertainty, it is improbable that they would disclose it publicly.

This situation raises a significant dilemma in modern society: not only is there a lack of regulatory oversight regarding public worker compromises, but how many regulators truly understand that Homo sapiens, as a living organism, can only thrive within the limits of its evolutionary adaptation rate? Acknowledging this reality highlights the risk to the survival of the Homo sapiens species due to the absence of a regulatory agency responsible for distinguishing between innovations that align with these criteria and those that do not. 

Food as Life, Not Just Fuel

Modern mindset often blurs the lines between food and technology. Food is not just another fuel for mechanical products; it is a vital source of nourishment 69 trillion cells and bacteria in our body have evolved to process. Unlike machines and devices, which can be replaced or upgraded, our biological systems are self-repairing organisms, evolutionarily tuned to thrive on natural, whole foods. Another curcial reality we face is that "Despite our desire to conduct interventional studies to understand how new chemical compounds in food affect physiology, we recognize that controlled environments often fail to reflect the complexities of real-world conditions. Achieving 100% certainty is impossible, and as our bodies adapt over time, the relevance of study results may diminish. Therefore, we provide natural foods that respect the laws of nature, ensuring that our approach does not interfere with the delicate balance of biological systems.

The Limitations of Dietary Guidelines

There can be a disconnect between regulatory agencies expressing recognition of individual differences in “local biological adaptation” and the actual implementation of uniform policies. While many organizations acknowledge that people are different, the implementation of standardized regulations may not always match this understanding. Nevertheless, the discrepancy between words and actions is often due to limitations in the basic systems we have used for years. We hope to be a catalyst for addressing fundamental system improvements.
